This week Stan (http://branddna NULL.blogspot NULL.com) reminds us we are all far from ordinary.
One of the best sources for ideas is people. Ordinary, everyday people. The kind of people who hang out at shopping malls, go to football games and take public transport.
You may think you’re one of these people, but believe me you’re not.
These people don’t spend time flicking through advertising award annuals. They’ve never looked at a graphic design blog. And they definitely don’t go hunting for inspiration on YouTube.
So maybe, just maybe, it’s time for you to spend more time with ordinary people.
Take a train, sit back and observe. Watch the way that people interact. Take notice of the books or magazines that they’re reading. And most importantly listen.
Listen to the way people speak. Listen to their conversations. I guarantee you will find inspiration on a train.
I have. Many times.Tweet
