This week Stan (http://branddna NULL.blogspot NULL.com) explains how the biggest killer of ideas can be ourselves.
Showing something that you created to someone else takes courage. And it takes even more courage to accept criticism of what you have created.
But accept it you must. Well most of the time anyway. Because taking onboard the critical opinion of others will help make your work better.
The only problem is, listening to criticism can often cause you to doubt yourself.
So you end up second guessing what people might think. And you do things not because you want to, but because you think other people will want you to.
That is not good.
Because the moment you start doubting your creative ability is the moment your ideas will start to dwindle.
So by all means seek critical opinion. But never ever forget to stay true to yourself.Tweet
